TCS Olympus A and B
Mumbai Consolidation Project and interior design
TCS undertook one of its largest consolidation projects in Mumbai Region wherein 20 offices spread across the city were to be relocated to the all new TCS Hiranandani Thane Campus called Olympus A and Olympus B spread over 2 buildings on Ground + 15 Floors and Ground + 20 floors respectively. VPCPL had worked on its first TCS Project at Nortel Borivali in 2000 and thereafter multiple projects were designed by VPCPL over 2 decades which were all to be relocated in the consolidation project. The requirements were to have Modularity to expand,
Flexibility, state of the art offices with Design variations to give the feel of different spaces to its 25,000 Associates once the project was completed. VPCPL undertook one of its largest Design Projects which was started with Space Planning, Zoning, check for compliance of the base building meeting TCS requirements, harvesting of Natural light etc. The floor plate of 1,00,000 square feet made the designing process even more challenging as each floor housed over 1000 Associates. Every floor was designed based on a different colour scheme and housed numerous break out and collaborative spaces. The designs were based on modularity wherein some floors were for a single client whereas some subdivided into 8 Agile Development Centers. The top floors are dedicated for Open Agile Collaborative Workspace (OACW) on one floor and Multi Purpose Hall with seating capacity of 2000 persons along
with Prefunction and Executive Dining area. The project has been designed and handed over in phases as per Business requirements of TCS.
